The BDK, Association of German Piano Makers, is a lively professional association for piano making and its preservation in Europe.

 

According to our statutes from the founding year 1959:

 

… the association aims to promote the professional interests of its members

… in particular, it must promote the practical skills and professional knowledge of its members

... to foster the community spirit, raise awareness among colleagues and promote international professional cooperation

….to support all efforts to promote music-making, especially on keyboard instruments, within the scope of its possibilities
