Terms and conditions of participation for the BDK Annual Conference from April 24th to 26th, 2026 in Nuremberg (General Terms and Conditions)

1. Purpose of the regulation

This contract governs the mutual contractual obligations between the BDK German Association of Piano Makers (organizer) and the participant in the "BDK Annual Meeting 2026 in Nuremberg" (participant). The contract terms are defined by the documents "Registration," "Registration Confirmation," and these terms and conditions. Additional contractual agreements may be made individually. These documents can be submitted via web forms or email.

2. Participants, registration and contract conclusion

Participation is open to members of the national piano-making associations affiliated with the Europiano federation. Authorization is granted by verifying the members' data within the associations. Participants are entitled to book a companion package (either A or B) for one accompanying person. Individuals who receive confirmation of participation from the organizer are also eligible. Participants enter their data into the online registration form, select a service package, and submit the data according to the registration form's submission procedure ("Offer"). The organizer then sends the participant a confirmation of participation ("Acceptance"), at which point the participation contract is concluded.

3. Services

The participant is entitled to the services listed in the service overview at https://www.bdk-events.de/bdk-jahrestagung-akustika-2026 at the time of submitting their registration, in accordance with the services booked. The organizer reserves the right to modify, add, replace, or remove individual services, provided that this does not alter the overall nature of the event and the service package. The organizer points out that only services listed in the service overview become part of the contract. All other options mentioned on this website in connection with the congress and the music trade fair are expressly excluded. Mentions of these options on the website are promotional in nature and do not establish any legal entitlement to use them. Minor changes made by the organizer do not constitute a defect. A change to an individual service is considered minor if it does not exceed 5% of the total scope of services. The organizer reserves the right to change the order of events, and this does not constitute a defect. The impossibility of attending two events taking place simultaneously does not constitute a defect. The organizer guarantees each participant attendance at at least two events in addition to the annual conference. The cancellation of a scheduled expert speaker will be compensated for by a replacement and does not constitute a breach of contract. Travel and accommodation are not included in the contract.
