In 1853 Berlin, Carl Bechstein founded his workshop beside the Opera and near Felix Mendelssohn’s home, aligning craft with the city’s most exacting ears. That promise has carried through centuries of culture making: Wagner demanding his own C. Bechstein for work and wonder, Alexander Skrjabin transporting a grand along the Volga in 1910 to deliver music to remote villages. From Liszt and Duke Ellington to Elton John and Queen, the world’s artists return to one pursuit, the C. Bechstein sound: luminous, intimate, unmistakable. Made in Seifhennersdorf, Germany, every instrument is an object of European heritage, refined by the savoir-faire of the manufactures skilled craftsmen and women. With rare vertical integration, each piano is shaped in-house with meticulous devotion. A facilitator of culture and a beacon of living well, C. ANT PETROF 126 Upright piano ANT. PETROF 126 is the gateway to the range of ANT. PETROF instruments and the newest member of ANT. PETROF family. Convince yourself how high the limits can be for an instrument that does not stand out with its size, but with its sound. Although it is the smallest of the instruments in the ANT. PETROF family, it is undoubtedly its rightful member. For example, it shares the same keyboard and action lever ratios with the taller ANT. PETROF 136 upright piano. All other components are also based on the philosophy of the ANT. PETROF series. Premium materials, several technological procedures taken over from grand piano production and mainly the handwork of the best craftsmen from the PETROF factory make this instrument a great example of the European piano tradition.
