Opening of Piano World:
Duo Clave – an extraordinary double grand piano and its technical innovations

Friday, April 24, 2026, 12 noon Piano Salon Paul Corbin is a French piano maker who worked as a designer at C. Bechstein in Seifhennersdorf, Germany. In his spare time, he took on the challenge of building his own grand piano: the DuoClave. After seven years of work, its construction is complete. Here, he presents the features of this extraordinary double grand piano and all the innovations it incorporates.

The Piano Makers' Evening has become a tradition at the BDK. This year, we are especially looking forward to spending this unforgettable evening with all the international participants! In addition to good food, drinks, and many great conversations, the evening will feature music: performed by us!

Anyone who would like to be part of the program and contribute to the evening with an entertaining performance (music of any kind, stories, dance, etc.) is warmly invited!
